Tanzania broadcaster suspends staff over fake Trump news

Tanzanian public broadcaster TBC has suspended nine staff after it aired a hoax story saying that US President Donald Trump had praised President John Magufuli's performance.
The article appeared on a website called Fox Channel.
The story, which was broadcast last week, said Mr Trump called Mr Magufuli an "African hero" compared to other leaders who are "doing nothing".
A statement from TBC said editorial procedures had not been followed.
The broadcaster's Director General Ayub Rioba said that the station should have verified the information before broadcasting.
The story said that the US president had called on other African leaders to follow Mr Magufuli's example with his emphasis on good governance and his war against corruption.
Mr Magufuli, known as the "bulldozer" for his hands on approach to leadership, has been waging a public war on corruption which has won him some support locally and internationally.

Taylor Swift Reportedly Planning to Launch Her Own Music Streaming Service

Pop superstar Taylor Swift’s well-documented feud with Spotify saw her pulling her entire back catalogue from the streaming service, but now she is positioning herself to be able to strike back at the music provider where it hurts—by launching her own rival streaming service.
According to TMZ, Swift has filed documents giving her the right to brand a website “featuring non-downloadable multi-media content in the nature of audio recordings.” As TMZ notes, this sounds very much like a traditional streaming service. She plans to call the website “Swifties.” Of course.
Swift fell out with Spotify—which pays artists fractions of a cent for each stream but is still struggling to achieve profitability—after the service refused to restrict her output to paying subscribers only. Swift, who has sold more than 30 million albums, was one of Spotify’s most popular artists at the time of her withdrawal, with 25 percent of listeners having streamed her songs.

CCTV near a university in Chonburi, Thailand caught a man making a slit in a motorcycle seat then getting out his manhood to have sex with the vehicle.

The five minute clip first shows him touring the bike park of the student quarters. He caresses several bikes then finds one he fancies.
He makes a slit like a vaginal opening in the front of the seat then gets out his member to mount it by facing backwards towards the rear of the bike, Manager Online reported.

Then, in the middle of his urgent coupling and much to the amusement of several giggling women who are reviewing the footage, he lights a cigarette. After having his way with the vehicle for about two minutes he appears to be disturbed, does up his zipper and leaves the scene.

Ed Sheeran Breaks Guinness World Records With ‘Divide’ Album

According to Gossip Cop, Ed Sheeran has broken several Guinness World Records with his latest album, ÷ (Divide), which was released earlier this month.
The British singer’s third studio album has become the fastest-selling pop album in the U.K. by a male artist after debuting at number one. Sheeran’s new record has also sold more copies in its first week than the rest of the U.K.’s Top 500 albums combined. Additionally, 16 of the U.K.’s Top 20 tracks belong to Sheeran, nabbing him the record for most simultaneous U.K. Top 20 singles.
The album’s first single, “Shape of You,” became the most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours, hitting more than 6 million streams when it was released in early January. That number trumps the previous record held by One Direction’s “Drag Me Down”, which had 4.75 million streams in 2015. Sheeran also broke many global records, and became the first artist to debut two Top 10 singles simultaneously in both the U.K. and U.S.

President Akufo-Addo to die in six months – Prophet Tawiah reveals

Prophet Kwabena Tawiah, the founder and Leader of the Church of Rabbi in Ghana has said President Akufo-Addo might die in six months if nothing is done to reverse the curse. The self-proclaimed man of God indicated that some members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have visited shrines to eliminate the president who has only spent two months in office.
The motive behind this evil plot, the controversial prophet said it was because some people in the NPP are still bitter about the victory of President Akufo-Addo, he told Adom News in an exclusive interview.

In November last year, he predicted that Nana Addo will win the 2016 presidential election and the prediction manifested.

Now the question is, could he be right this time? However, this comes after Zimbabwean prophet Mugadza made a similar prophecy, when he predicted October 17 for President Mugabe's death, a statement which saw him spent more than a month in re…

Donald Trump tax: Leaked 2005 document reveals $38m bill

US President Donald Trump paid $38m (£31m) in tax on more than $150m (£123m) income in 2005, a leaked partial tax return shows.
Two pages of the tax return were revealed by US TV network MSNBC but they gave no details on income sources or of charitable giving.
The White House said publishing the tax return was against the law.
Mr Trump refused to release his tax returns during the election campaign, breaking with a long-held tradition. He has said he is under audit by tax authorities and that his lawyers advise against releasing tax returns. His critics, however, say they suspect Mr Trump has something to hide.
Correspondents say that, despite the lack of detail, the leak is still significant because so little is known about President Trump's tax affairs and the new information could increase pressure on him to release more.
The two pages show that Mr Trump paid $5.3m in federal income tax and an extra $31m in what is called alternative minimum tax (AMT).
AMT was set up nearly…
