'Location of today's attack in Russia not too far from where Putin was' - Russian defense says

Terror on Monday showed it's ugly head once again, as a train station in St Petersburg, Russia experienced bomb blasts killing 11 people with so many others injured, in what the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev described as a "terrorist act."
The train where the bomb blast occurred was traveling between two stations in St. Petersburg, Russia's second-biggest city and another bomb was defused in another station, but no terrorist group as at press time had claimed responsibility for the act. According to Russia's Russia's Anti-terrorist Committee and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the attack wasn't accidental as Russian president Vladimir Putin was attending a media meeting with Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko.

The entire metro system in St. Petersburg has now been shut down.

"So far, we say it was an unidentified explosive device as investigators and the Federal Security Service's bomb specialists are to establish the e…

President Trump donates first-quarter salary of $78,333 to National Park Service

According to AFP, the White House announced Monday that President Trump donated his first-quarter salary of $78,333 to the National Park Service. Trump vowed on the campaign trail to donate his $400,000 salary if he were elected.
With some fanfare, White House spokesman Sean Spicer announced Trump had decided to donate his salary for the first quarter of 2017 to the government agency that manages parks, monuments and other conservation properties.
"It is my pleasure, on behalf of the president of the United States, to present a check for $78,333 to the secretary of the interior, Ryan Zinke," he said, amid scenes more reminiscent of a gala dinner than the White House press room.

On the campaign trail, Trump had vowed to donate his taxpayer-funded $400,000 annual salary to charity if elected. The National Park Service is not a charity, but it is the first sign Trump will hand over the cash.

The gift may be a peace offering of sorts. Trump has tangled with the agency …

Blac Chyna Is Officially Blocked from Trademarking the Name ‘Angela Kardashian’

Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian have succeeded in legally blocking Blac Chyna from using the name Angela Kardashian in any business dealings whatsoever.
Chyna filed a trademark claim in May 2016 for the name Angela Kardashian; although she wasn’t yet married to Rob Kardashian, it seemed like a done deal.
Then in December 2016, the three sisters’ respective corporations, Khloemoney Inc., 2Die4Kourt, and Kimsaprincess Inc., filed to block Chyna’s claim.
TMZ is reporting that Chyna never challenged the petition so her request was denied.
It’s possible she and Rob are back on, judging by the Snapchats coincidentally published Saturday, but even if they were to get married, Chyna still wouldn’t be able to use the name Kardashian for business purposes.

Trump ready to 'solve' North Korea problem without China

Donald Trump has said the United States will "solve" the nuclear threat from North Korea, with or without China's help.
"If China is not going to solve North Korea, we will. That is all I am telling you," he said in an interview with UK paper the Financial Times.

Mr Trump was speaking ahead of a scheduled visit from Chinese President Xi Jinping this week.
"China has great influence over North Korea. And China will either decide to help us with North Korea, or they won't. And if they do that will be very good for China, and if they don't it won't be good for anyone," Mr Trump told the FT.
Asked if he meant "one-on-one" unilateral action, Mr Trump said: "I don't have to say any more. Totally."
He did not give any further details on what action he would take.
