The bullets missed his target who, after sensing danger at the time Osman was removing the gun from his pocket, had mounted his motorcycle and dodged his way out of the troubled yard. General election 2017: MPs back plans for 8 June poll

A UK general election will be held on 8 June after MPs backed Prime Minister Theresa May's call for a snap poll.
The House of Commons backed the PM by a margin of 522 votes to 13, above the two-thirds majority needed, as Labour and the Lib Dems supported the move.
The PM has argued a fresh mandate would strengthen her hand in Brexit talks and provide certainty for the future.
Jeremy Corbyn welcomed the poll but accused the PM of changing her mind and breaking promises on a range of issues.
The next general election had been expected in 2020, but the Fixed Term Parliaments Act allows for one to be held earlier if it has the support of two-thirds of MPs.
Defending the measure, Mrs May told MPs there was a "window of opportunity" to hold a poll before Brexit negotiations began in earnest in June and that the country needed "strong leadership" to make a success of the process.

The prime minister, who will make her first campaign stop in the north-west of Englan…

Oprah Winfrey on Vacationing with the Obamas: 'What Happens on the Boat, Stays on the Boat'

Oprah Winfrey's lips are sealed when it comes to her vacation with Barack and Michelle Obama.
The media mogul, 63, was at the New York City premiere of her new film, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, when she was asked about her recent trip with two members of the former first family.
"I can't talk about it, I can't talk about it!" Winfrey said. "What happens on the boat, stays on the boat."

The Obamas, Winfrey, Tom Hanks and Bruce Springsteen all gathered on a 450-foot yacht off the coast of Tahiti for what appeared to be the coolest vacation ever.

The group enjoyed lunch on Vanilla Island, made a stop at Le Taha'a Island and continued to Bora Bora.

While she may not have been able to disclose whether the former president and first lady sipped on margaritas, or whether Hanks joined them for water skiing, she seemed relaxed on the red carpet.
The film tells the true story of Henrietta Lacks, a working-class African-American woman whose cervi…

US gunman kills three 'in race attack'

Three white men were killed and another wounded when a black gunman opened fire in Fresno, California, in a suspected race attack, police have said.
Kori Ali Muhammad shot 16 rounds in 90 seconds in the shooting spree on Tuesday, said Police Chief Jerry Dyer.
He shouted "God is great" in Arabic as police arrested him but this was a hate crime not terrorism, Mr Dyer believed.
Mr Muhammad, 39, was also wanted for the murder of a security guard outside a motel in the city last week.
The suspect had indicated on social media that he hated white people and expressed anti-government views, police said.

All four victims were white men, and one of them was shot sitting in a car.
"He wanted to kill as many people as he could and that's what he set out to do," said Mr Dyer.
"This was a random act of violence. These were unprovoked attacks by an individual who was intent on carrying out homicides today."
Mr Dyer added that Tuesday's attack "has nothing to…

Spanish police have added that this included more than 360,000 files.
International operation

Angelina Jolie Opens Up About Her Late Mother and How She Influenced Her Stunning Beauty Campaign

Angelina Jolie has a very big reason for choosing Guerlain's perfume, Mon Guerlain, as her first beauty campaign in a decade.
The notoriously private actress talked to Marie Claire about her stunning campaign, and said that the French beauty brand was actually a favorite of her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand. Bertrand died in 2007, after a battle with ovarian and breast cancer.
"It was a brand my mother loved, so I knew it from my childhood," Jolie says. "It spoke to her, as it does to me, of beauty, history, and quality; one of the oldest perfume houses in the world, from France, a country I love and feel connected to."
"She was a very natural woman who never spoiled herself, never wore makeup, and wore modest jewelry, but she always had a few special items for when she wanted to feel like a lady," she continues. "One of those -- and I remember it because it seemed so elegant -- was her Guerlain powder. I think all women have those fe…

McDonald's employees delayed Facebook Live killer's fries so Cops could arrest him

Facebook killer Steve Stephens at about 11 a.m. Tuesday, ordered a 20-piece McNugget and a large French fries at a McDonald's drive-thru on Buffalo Road in Erie, Pennsylvania, store employees said. An employee recognized Stephens, and tried to stall him by pretending his fries weren't ready while they called police, the store's manager said.
According to the manager, Stephens got his nuggets, but then said he had to go and he drove off without the fries but that gave the Police enough time to show up.

Stephens drove off just as Pennsylvania state troopers arrived and led them on a chase for about two miles.

Carl White Sr., who watched the chase unfold, said a cruiser rammed Stephens' now infamous white Ford Fusion in front of an abandoned school. The impact popped at least one of Stephens' tires.

Police swarmed the car, and Stephens fatally shot himself.

Wonder if the employees will get the reward money.

R.Madrid 4-2 Bayern Munich: Ronaldo treble sends Real into semis

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a controversial hat-trick to become the first man to reach 100 Champions League goals as Real Madrid overcame 10-man Bayern Munich 4-2 after extra time in Tuesday's thrilling quarterfinal second leg.
The holders surged through 6-3 on aggregate at an exhilarated Santiago Bernabeu to take their place in Friday's semifinal draw for a record seventh consecutive year.
But Real were pushed all the way by Bayern, who battled back from a 2-1 first-leg deficit to send the tie into extra time thanks to Robert Lewandowski's penalty and an own goal from Sergio Ramos.
However, after Arturo Vidal was sent off, Ronaldo hit the century mark in Europe's top club competition on 104 minutes and completed his hat-trick five minutes later.
Bayern were left incensed, though, as Ronaldo's second and third goals were clearly offside.
"To score six goals against a team like Bayern Munich isn't easy so we deserved to go through," the Por…
