Tiger Woods found asleep at wheel, arrest report says

Tiger Woods was found asleep at the wheel the morning of his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, police records show.
Jupiter, Florida, police discovered Woods early Monday on the side of the road, with his 2015 Mercedes-Benz running, its brake lights illuminated and right turn signal flashing, according to the arrest report released Tuesday. He was by himself and wearing his seat belt.

3 Kumasi notorious robbers arrested

The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested three armed robbers said to have been robbing and terrorising residents of Aputuogya and its surroundings areas in the Bosomtwe District.
The three, Muhammed Sulley, Abubakar Siddick Awudu and Ibrahim Issah had in their possession, a container full of acid, a locally manufactured pistol, two live cartridges, ten tablets of Tramadol, two knives and two tricycle ignitions keys.

Soldier lynched at Denkyira Boase

A soldier has been killed at Diaso in the Upper Denkyira West district of the Central region.
The officer whose name has been given us Captain Maxwell Mahama was lynched by residents on suspicion of being an armed robber.
The late Captain Maxwell Mahama was a military officer with the 5th Infantry Batallion (5BN) at Burma Camp in Accra but on detachment duties at the Denkyira Boase of the Central region.

Tiger Woods: Alcohol 'not involved' in arrest

Golfer Tiger Woods says alcohol was "not involved" in his arrest while driving in Florida early on Monday.
The player, who was charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI), blamed "an unexpected reaction to prescribed medication".
"I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions," he said.
Police released a mugshot of Woods, looking unshaven and unkempt, following his arrest in the town of Jupiter.

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are the ultimate humanitarian couple and John is the latest to loosen his purse strings for a good cause. The singer donated $5000 towards a project aimed at providing meals for kids in Seattle's public schools. The GoFundMe project is the brainchild of Jeff Lew who wants to help erase the nearly $21,000 total school lunch debt in 99 Seattle public schools.

Former Panama dictator Manuel Noriega dies at 83, president says

Former Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega has died at the age of 83 following brain surgery this year, Panama's President Juan Carlos Varela said on Twitter late on Monday.
Noriega, who ruled Panama from 1983 to 1989, spied for the Central Intelligence Agency until the United States invaded and toppled his corrupt government, ending a criminal career that saw him working with drug traffickers like Pablo Escobar.
