The funeral of Ivorian star Cheick Tiote was held in Abidjan on Sunday following his sudden death in China earlier this month.
Tiote died aged 30 after collapsing during training with his Chinese club Beijing Enterprises.
The former Newcastle United midfielder was honoured with a military funeral with a host of dignitaries and players in attendance.

Wedding errand vehicle involved in accident; taxi driver killed at Sunyani-Abesim Highway

A fatal accident that occurred on the Sunyani-Abesim Highway on Saturday, claimed the life of a taxi driver, Osman Sumala, while six others were injured.
The vehicles involved in the accident, were an Opel Astra taxi cab with registration number GR 5921- U, which was loaded with tomatoes and a Toyota Camry with registration number BA 393-16.

Beyonce and her twins still in the hospital due to 'Minor Issue'

Popular singer and actress, Beyoncehas given birth to a boy and a girl, but both mother and children have since remained in the hospital due to a minor issue concerning the twins.

According to TMZ,  the twins were born on Monday June 12, 2017, in a Los Angeles hospital, but a "minor issue" surfaced, which in turn has made doctors feel uncomfortable releasing them:

Phillip Chiyangwa, vice president of the Confederation of African Football's (Caf) Africa Cup of Nations committee, says Zambia may yet be given an opportunity to bid to host the 2021 Nations Cup. 
Chiyangwa said Caf was reviewing the manner in which the 2019, 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments were awarded to West Africa by the previous Caf administration.

The singer first announced news of her pregnancy in an Instagram posted Feb. 1. The photo features Beyoncé wearing a veil and surrounded by flowers as she holds her pregnant belly.
