Ghana To Host A Night Of Thrilling Classicals & Opera

The Classical Music Association of Ghana is organizing for the first time in Ghana what promises to be a memorable night of classical music and opera performance.

Dubbed as “A Night of Thrilling Classicals & Opera”, there will be two sessions, one in Kumasi on Friday 21st July at the Golden Tulip Hotel Hall (Kumasi) and the other on Saturday 22nd July 2017 at the National Theatre, Accra. Both shows are scheduled to commence at 6 p.m. and end at 10p.m.

12-year-old Suffers Rare Skin Disease That Makes Her Hand And Chest Look Like A Tree Bark

A 12-year-old girl from Bangladesh is suffering a very rare and painful skin condition that makes her skin grow like the bark of a tree.
Muktamoni's upper body, the right side mainly, is turning brown and hardening to resemble a tree. Reports have it that the upper part of her body has the tree-man disease. The right side of the child's chest has stretched down to her hand and has become large and discolored. The hand which is infested with parasitic warms appears to be growing and curling up at the end. She suffers incredible pain in the affected arm and, coupled with the fact that the hand curls at the end, she is unable to do anything with the hand.

Former NFL Player O J Simpson, who was convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping had spent 9 years in prison have been granted parole.
He was convicted in 2007, and was sentenced to 9-33 years in prison.

Usher paid a woman $1.1 million to settle a lawsuit after she claimed she contracted a sexually transmitted disease from him, according to a legal documents.
The legal papers, obtained by Radar Online, claim the singer knew that he had herpes but still engaged in unprotected sex with a woman without telling her of his condition. In fact, court documents indicate that Usher denied having an STD.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has withheld the entire results of candidates from 185 schools on suspicion of malpractices during and after the 2017 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
According to a statement announcing the provisional results of the 2017 WASSCE, the examination body said the results of the candidates have been withheld “pending conclusion of investigations into malpractices detected during and after the examinations.”
