Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has been given a three-match ban for his red card against Celta Vigo in the Europa League.
The 23-year-old was sent off after a mass brawl in the semi-final on 11 May and missed the final against Ajax, which United won 2-0.

Trump's son-in-law Kushner denies Russia collusion

Senior White House adviser Jared Kushner has said he had four contacts with Russian officials, but denied any collusion to help his father-in-law Donald Trump to win the US presidency.
In a statement released on Monday, Kushner described contacts with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and other Russian officials as normal in his former role as the campaign liaison to foreign governments.

Blood Donor Dies After Hospital Denies Her Blood

A 21-year-old girl died on Saturday after the Ashongman Community Hospital in Accra refused to give her blood, even though she is a blood donor.
According to Adolf Lawson, father of the level 300 student of the Catholic University, doctors at the Ghana Atomic Energy Hospital, where his daughter was on admission, directed him to the Ashongman Community Hospital to purchase blood for his sick daughter, since they did not have the essential fluid at their facility.

Microsoft's graphics program Paint has been included in a list of Windows 10 features that will be either removed or no longer developed.
Paint has been part of the Windows operating system since its release in 1985 and is known for its simplicity and basic artistic results.

Persident Mugabe Gifts His Sister In-law $60,000 On Her Birthday

Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe, reportedly lavished his sister in-law with R780,000 which is approxiamtly $60,000, as she celebrated her 60th birthday on July  23 2017.

According to The Herald newspaper, the 93 year old president and his wife Grace gave Junior Gumbochuma the huge sum, while the couple’s children gave her $10,000.

Mahama remembers Mills’s death five years on

Former President John Dramani Mahama has described the late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills as a man of great moral courage and strength.
In a message commemorating the fifth anniversary of his death, he indicated that the former President remains a source of inspiration to him and the country as a whole. Mr John Dramani Mahama was the Vice-President to Professor Mills from 2009 until his death on July 24, 2012.

The shark has jumped Michael Phelps. The Olympic gold medalist couldn’t hold his own against a Great White shark in Sunday night’s racing spectacular on Discovery Channel to kick off Shark Week. 
“Phelps vs. Shark: Great Gold vs. Great White” pit the 32-year-old swimmer against the fearsome animal in a 100-meter race...kind of.

IMF downgrades US and UK growth

The UK and US economies will expand more slowly in 2017 than previously predicted, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
It said "weaker-than-expected activity" in the first three months of the year meant the UK would grow by 1.7%, compared with an earlier 2% forecast.

Don Gause, 47, from Georgia was surprised when his 11-year-old stepson Tyler read out an emotional speech, asking him to officially adopt him. Narrating what happened, Tyler's biological mother, Marcia Gause, said: 
"Tyler was one and a half when Don came into his life, they have always had the relationship of father and son. Don had no idea what was going on - we wanted to do it as if it was a baby shower because he always says I wish I could have been there when you had my son."

Mills’ brother threatens to exhume late President’s body

Samuel Atta Mills has threatened to exhume the body of his brother – the late President John Evans Atta Mills – due to the terrible nature of the Asomdwe Park, where he was buried.
Atta Mills, who is the MP for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem (KEEA) in the Central region disclosed this in an interview with Starr News’ Parliamentary Correspondent, Ibrahim Alhassan after a statement on the floor of parliament to mark the late president’s 73rd birthday.

Nigeria's president has been pictured in London for the first time since he left his homeland almost 80 days ago. 
President Muhammadu Buhari, 74, came to the UK for treatment for an unspecified illness.
On Sunday, he met governors from his party for lunch and was very cheerful, according to a government statement.

The regional governing body, CONCACAF, has suspended two El Salvador players for biting American opponents during the Gold Cup quarterfinals last Wednesday.
Henry Romero, a defender with El Salvador was given a six-game ban while Darwin Ceren, the captain of the national team received three for separate incidents that occurred during the United States’ 2-0 win over El Salvador.
