Laurianne Rossi, French MP, punched in Paris market

A man has been arrested after punching a female MP from President Emmanuel Macron's party in the head in a southern Paris suburb.
Laurianne Rossi, 33, was confronted by the man as she distributed leaflets in Bagneux market.
He expressed anger at Macron government policy before punching her in the right temple, Ms Rossi told local media.

2 Dead, 4 Injured After Iraqi Gunman Opens Fire In A Nightclub In Germany

A 34-year-old gunman of Iraqi origin opened fire in a packed nightclub in the southern German city of Konstanz on Sunday, July 30th, killing one person and injuring four others.
The suspect was fatally wounded in a gunfight with police officers outside the music venue after they had rushed to the scene shortly after the incident. He died later in hospital.

36-year-old Otishus Kirkwood of Kansas City has been arrested for critically injuring a woman after he allegedly dropped an old television set on her from a third-floor balcony in Missouri.
Authorities say the victim, who was not identified, sustained life-threatening injuries.

US President Donald Trump says he is "very disappointed" with China for not doing enough to stop North Korea's weapons programme.
Writing on Twitter, he said he would not allow China to "do nothing" about the reclusive state.
