​GOtv subscribers in Ghana can watch Spanish La Liga on GOtv MAX

GOtv subscribers in Ghana will now have access to the best of the Spanish La Liga live starting this October. The full complement of La Liga matches will be available on the newly introduced GOtv MAX package.
“These matches will be aired live on a new sports channel, SuperSport Select 4 for our GOtv MAX subscribers”, said Kingsley Afful, General Manager, GOtv Ghana.

29 people injured as French football stadium barrier collapses

Twenty-nine fans were injured on Saturday when a barrier collapsed at a stadium in the northern French city of Amiens as away supporters celebrated their opening goal.

A fence separating Lille fans from the pitch gave way as they surged forward to celebrate the goal against Amiens, a regional rival that has just been promoted to the top flight in French football.

Louisa Satekla, wife of popular Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy Saturday evening suffered a knife attack at Ashaiman moments before her husband took to the stage to perform.
Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla who revealed the incident in a Facebook post said it appeared he was the prime target but the unknown assailants missed him and cut his wife Louisa on her back.
