Super Eagles fined $30,000 by Fifa

Nigeria has been fined more than $30,000 (£22,600) by Fifa and issued with a warning after Super Eagles fans invaded the pitch when they beat Cameroon 4-0 on 1 September.
This was the largest fine handed down to eight African nations by the global football body for various offences committed during September's 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

NCA approves Tigo, Airtel merger

The National Communications Authority has given approval for the merger between Bharti Ghana Limited (Airtel) and Millicom Ghana Limited (Tigo), to proceed subject to some conditions.

A statement from the NCA on Monday, October 2 said that the merger will result in an entity which will be the second largest mobile network operations in the country.
