Kenyan MP 'accidentally forwards sex tips on WhatsApp'

A first-time Kenyan MP has been asked to apologise after posting a message with sex tips on his constituency WhatsApp group, the local Daily Nation newspaper reports.
Anthony Kiai, also known as Highflyer, appeared to have forwarded the message innocently, and asked members of the group to ignore it after he realised his mistake, it reports.

Game of Thrones actor dies: Set world record for narrating the show's audiobooks

British actor Roy Dotrice has died at the age of 94.
Dotrice was known to Game of Thrones fans for his brief role as Wisdom Hallyne the pyromancer in season 2. But more impressively, he also read the audiobooks for George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire, and holds the Guinness World Record for the most characters voiced by a single actor in an audiobook — 223 in the saga’s first novel, A Game of Thrones, the audiobook for which is 33 hours long.

Following a series of successful screenings in some of the biggest festival across the globe, West African romantic comedy ‘Potato Potahto’ will kick off its cinematic releases across the continent from November 2017. Potato Potahto opens in Nigerian and South African cinemas on the 24th of November and makes its way to Ghanaian screens on the 30th of November.

American rapper, producer and DJ,  Lil Jon on Thursday commissioned a 3-unit Kindergarten classroom block with ancillary office and washroom facilities at Abomayaw, a rural community in Asuogyaman district of the Eastern region of Ghana.
The constructed classroom block has ended several years of struggle for conducive learning environment for children in the community.

Former al-Shabab leader donates blood to help victims of Mogadishu bombing

Mukhtar Roobow, a former commander in Somalia's militant Islamist group al-Shabaab has been photographed donating blood to survivors of the truck bombing in the capital, Mogadishu.
Robow defected to the government over the weekend.  He was one of the founders of al-Shabab, along with other radical leaders following the defeat of the Islamic Courts Union in late 2006.

Police announce temporary closure of public roads in Accra on Monday

Death toll rises to 276 in Somalia's worst bomb attack with about 300 injured in the capital
