Tanzanian singer 'apologises' for Kenyatta prayer

Prominent Tanzanian gospel artist Christina Shusho has apologised for a Facebook post that upset opponents of Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyatta, Kenya's privately owned Star newspaper has reported. 
The singer posted a prayer on Saturday which asked God to "give your servant Uhuru Kenyatta wisdom and answer his prayers whenever his call".

The Ghana Police Service has received a donation of some items including 23 bullet-proof vests from the Cedar Hill Police in Texas, USA.
Reginald Agyemang, an American Police officer of the Cedar Hill Police who grew up in Ghana explained that the donation is a way of giving back to the country of his birth.

A 38-year-old man, Daniel Nunoo, has appeared before an Accra District Court charged with attempted murder.
Nunoo, who has been washing vehicles for a living, is said to have stabbed his ex-lover in her abdomen for snubbing him when he approached her at a funeral.
