Sean 'Diddy' Combs has claimed he was "only joking" about changing his name to Brother Love.
The 48-year-old rapper - who is also known by monikers including Puff Daddy and P. Diddy - took to social media over the weekend to tell his followers he now wants to be known as Brother Love, but in a new video uploaded to Instagram on Monday (06.11.17), the star has revealed it was all a joke.

Dangote Foundation pledges $100million to tackle malnutrition in Nigeria

The managing Director and CEO of the Aliko Dangote Foundation, Zouera Youssoufou has disclosed that the foundation will spend $100million on tackling malnutrition in the worst affected parts of Nigeria over the next five years. She made the disclosure at the just concluded Global Nutrition Summit 2017, held in Milan, Italy which was attended by government officials, international agencies, foundations, civil society organisations and businesses.

Ghanaian musician, Cassiel Wuta-Offei has been sentenced to six months imprisonment for being in possession of an offensive weapon in London.  
The 25-year old artist was sentenced to six months imprisonment at Camberwell Magistrates Court on Friday, 20th October for being in possession of a knife.

Woman Loses Job After Giving President Trump The Middle Finger

A woman has been sacked from her job after a photo of her raising a middle finger at President Trump went viral. Juli Briskman, 50, was cycling past the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, when she noticed a motorcade carrying the President and realised it was an opportunity she could not miss. Lifting her left arm, Ms Briskman gave Mr Trump the finger and was snapped by a photographer travelling in the motorcade.

Allowance for Chiefs, Queen Mothers increased by 100%

Allowances paid to Chiefs and queen mothers have been increased by 100% by the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia government.
Making the announcement on Monday, 6 November 2017, during a meeting with the National House of Chiefs in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo said the increment is in line with a 2016 manifesto pledge.

Nigerian musician, Iceberg Slim, who  has been on a media tour in Accra, has revealed in an interview that he shot the music video of ‘Oluwa’, his latest single in Cape Coast.

26 Nigerian women drown in the Mediterranean sea

The bodies of 26 women believed to be Nigerian have been recovered from the Mediterranean sea off Italy. According to reports, the women were trying to reach Europe from Libya.
It is unclear why so many women died, as there were men on board the ship as well and there are suspicions that they may have been sexually abused and murdered as they attempted the dangerous Mediterranean crossing.

Meek Mill sentenced to 2-4 years in prison for multiple probation violations

Rapper Meek Mill was in a Philadelphia court Monday when the judge sentenced him to 2-4 years in state prison for violating probation from his 2009 drug and weapons case, when he got arrested in a St. Louis airport for getting into a fight with an airport employee. The judge also cited another probation violation when he got arrested for reckless driving in New York City.
