Sheikh Saud al-Mojeb also confirmed that 199 people were being held for questioning as part of a sweeping anti-corruption drive that began on Saturday night. He did not name any of them, but they include senior princes, ministers and influential businessmen.

Fifa has overturned a decision by Sierra Leone's Football Association (SLFA) to remove Isha Johansen from her role as president, ruling it "invalid".

Former US president Barack Obama answered a jury summons today, arriving at a Chicago courthouse to perform the civic duty. Accompanied by tight security, Obama was the only juror to arrive at the courthouse in a six-vehicle motorcade made up of four black SUVs that had Secret Service detail, a Chicago police SUV, and an Illinois State Police SUV.
