Beloved Chimpanzee laid to rest in casket at Uganda Wildlife Conservation Centre
Mourners last Saturday afternoon, converged at the Uganda Wildlife
Conservation Education Centre to pay their last respects to a beloved
chimpanzee, Late Zakayo.
There was a moment to view his remains that were neatly placed in a casket, placed on two chairs for support.
Memories and stories of the mighty chimpanzee were shared by tourists
and those who were dearly touched by the demise of the mighty "Zac".
Zakayo is survived by one child, Shaka 17 and two wives,
Amina and Ruth. His other child Yanki had passed away a few years back.
