Model Adwoa Aboah Takes Burberry To Ghana
British Model of Ghanaian descent, Adwoa Aboah takes the final
segment of her three parts shoots with renowned photographer, Juergen
Teller for British Fashion company, Burberry back to Ghana.
The shoots
started from London, the city in which Adwoa was born, the second part
was in the United States, where she lives and now, she has taken the
final part to Ghana, where her father Charles Aboah was born.
Much of the Ghana photoshoot was done around Adwoa family house in
the capital city, Accra involving her close Ghanaian family members. She
features her grandmother – Gladys Aboah, aunties – Mary Asare and
Ernestina Aboah, and cousin – Kensemaa Aboah. And from the photos and
video, we could tell the joy on set was on explainable as she returns
home to meet and work with family. Part of the shoot was done with
a fellow British model, Sonny Hall.
Burberry and Adwoa are using the images to usher the brand’s
autumn/winter 2018 pre-collection which includes layered silhouettes,
prints, graphic scribbles, checks and knitwear, coats, suits,
