Ghana's youngest Dj, Dj Switch talks to BBC Africa |Watch
Ghana’s DJ Switch only started DJing a year ago – when she was 9 years old. Now, she’s jamming at parties and giving DJ tips to the BBC.
10-year-old DJ Switch, whose real name is Erica, sat down with BBC to discuss her career as a DJ, school, and her debut single “Deceiver,” which she sang with her mom.
She says she chose the name Switch because “I switch up people’s happiness.”
She
also dances, is learning the piano, and can play the trumpet. And while
DJing is her passion, she wants to be a gynecologist later in life, so
she can help women.
