Watch: Trevor Noah talks life, his rise to fame in new docu-series 'Breaking Big'

SA-born comedian and 'The Daily Show' host Trevor Noah took to social media to share a video of a new docu-series 'Breaking Big', which featured him as its premiere guest. In the post, Noah joked that he hopes his mom watches the documentary so that she “finally starts believing that I’m not a drug dealer!”

'Breaking Big' is a documentary series that takes an in-depth look at 12 talented men and women to uncover the unexpected journeys to success of some of the world’s most influential stars.

Noah said he’s “honoured to be on the premiere episode” of the series, which airs every Friday on Facebook Watch.

During the show, Noah tells host Carlos Watson about the hardships he endured on his way to success. He also talks about his mother, Patricia, who escaped death — twice, and her miraculous recovery from a gunshot to the head.
