Kenyans call foul after MPs go to World Cup at taxpayers' expense
Angry Kenyans have taken to Twitter to react furiously to news that
20 politicians travelled to watch the World Cup at 'taxpayers' expense.'
According to Kenya's The Star, 14 members of the National Assembly
and six senators are currently in Russia at the expense of the Kenya
government.
The politicians reportedly travelled in two batches, one group
left on July 2 and another on July 5.
They are expected to stay in
Russia until after the World Cup final on July 15.
Now Kenyans on Twitter have accused the politicians of travelling to Russia for the World Cup tournament with 'public funds.'
