President Akufo Addo has assured management and Board of Trustees of the Head of State Awards Scheme that he will ensure that the scheme is adequately resourced in order to reach 500,000 Ghanaian youth by the year 2020. As a first sign of his commitment to the scheme, he announced that he has taken an executive decision to move the Awards Secretariat to the Office of the President for the direct supervision of the scheme by the Presidency.
