Salon Services Academy marks 4th Anniversary with a Donation to Teshie Children's Home

The management and students of Salon Services Academy  have paid a visit to the Teshie Children's Home as part of activities to mark their 4th year anniversary as a certified Cosmetology School. They donated among other things body creams and soaps, toiletries, stationery, drinks and bags of water. 

The delegation was led by the administrator Miss Claudia Twum and Mrs Mylove Ammisah acting senior instructor.  They spent some hours with them interacting and sharing drinks and finger foods as the inhabitants entertained their guest with songs and poetry recitals. The administrator of the home Mr. Edward Anteh expressed gratitude to the entire Salon Services family for their kind gesture and edged them to continue the good work in producing qualified cosmetologists for the nation. He also suggested that the school partners with them to provide scholarship for their inhabitants who are interested in the cosmetology industry which was positively accepted by the administrator.

Salon Services Academy can be located on the Derby Avenue Accra Central opposite the Rawlings Park.  

It is committed to the vocational needs of their students and the community. Courses are designed to equip students and those that are seeking education that is relevant to the practical needs in the technical environment of modern industry. Our primary objective is to produce technically skilled, job ready graduates who will be valuable to their employers, the community and themselves. 

Graduates of our programs will be prepared to take and pass both internal and external exams in Cosmetology, Beauty Therapy and Hair Technology (Hairdressing).

It has been granted institutional approval from the Government of Ghana, Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (COTVET) and National Vocational Training Institute (NVTI). Its started with 1 student and is currently  over 150 student populated and 8 facilitators or Instructors. First Graduation was in 2017 with 50 graduands.

The third one will be held in September with about 80 graduands passing out in the various fields of cosmetology was founded by Mrs. Stella Amponsah and Board Chairman Mr. Kwaku Amponsah.
