Award-Winning Canadian Singer Deborah Cox In Ghana For ‘Ghana World Music Festival’

It’s the Year of Return In Ghana, a tall list of events have been lined up to welcome and entertained diasporans coming back to the country.

A lot of the events have already been held, among them was the Ghana Diaspora Celebration and Homecoming Summit in July. Topics from politics, environment, technology and more were discussed by a different panel, the event was graced by the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo.

To kick start another part of the celebration, Canadian talented singer Deborah Cox has been invited to perform at the Panafest and Emancipation shows from August 2nd to 4th, 2019 at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair, Accra.

But, before the main show at the Fantasy Dome, Deborah will participate in a panel discussion, Ghana World Music Festival’s Women in the Arts, dedicated to empowering women pursuing careers in the arts on August 1st at the Accra Tourist Information Centre 6 pm moderated by Ghanaian media personality, Naa Ashorkor.

She will share her journey in the business, talk about her new project and how she balances family with her career.  She will also discuss how she defines her own purpose within the entertainment industry, which often tries to define you, especially as a woman.
