Date within your tax bracket and stop calling women gold-diggers-Toke Makinwa

Nigerian on-air personality and actress, Toke Makinwa  has asked men to date within their tax brackets and stop tagging women as ‘gold-diggers.’

According to the fashionista, if men date women whom they can be able to ‘afford,’ they wouldn’t see women with expensive tastes as ‘gold-diggers.’

In a Twitter post she wrote:

“This is for the guys, pls date within your tax bracket and save us all the stories that touch, stop calling women gold diggers, olosho and the likes, some of you don’t even have the gold sef.”

Toke’s post has since gotten a lot of mixed reactions from men and women alike who believe relationships should not be a transaction.
