Ghana’s COVID-19 cases now 7,117 as death toll hits 34

Barely 24 hours after Ghana recorded 125 cases of COVID-19, the country has added 153 more cases taking the national tally to 7,117, according to the Ghana Health Service.

Two more people have also succumbed to the disease increasing the death toll to 34.

However, over 200 people who tested positive for the highly infectious disease have recovered taking the total number of recoveries to 2,317.

The total number of cases in Accra has now surpassed 5000 with the Ashanti region in a distant second place with a little over 1000 cases.
