Bright Philip Donkor Nominated For National Communications Awards 2020

Award winning Online Journalist and Columnist Bright Philip Donkor has grabbed a nomination at the recently announced National Communications Awards.

He was nominated for the Online Media Personality of the Year category.

The awards scheme, according to the organizers serves “as a national platform for recognizing the great works and impact of communication practitioners in Ghana”.

Online and USSD voting for the awards starts on Thursday, 10th September via USSD Code *920*2020# or visit www.votedigital.net to vote. Voting ends on 5th November 2020.

Organizers add that it will “serve as a springboard for many who aspire to reach higher heights with their works, efforts and contribution in the media and communications industry in Africa and Ghana in particular". The National Communications Summit and Awards'20 comes off on 7th November at the Africa Trade House, Accra.

Bright Philip is widely known for his mastery over the pen  among the new generation of writers, and has over the years, built a reputation as a powerful voice in the Ghanaian media space, having written compelling nationalistic pieces to shapen society.

As a Communication Practitioner, Social Commentator, Columnist and a Prolific Feature Writer, he has featured in tremendous write ups in leading media and communication platforms in the country.

A student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Bright majors a Degree in Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies, Journalism. His talent, charisma and spirit of writing have been touted by many, and he arrives as a strong addition to the outfit, with the ability & experience to string words together into a comprehensive and insightful piece.
