Tertiary Music Awards Ghana launches on Friday, October 30

Tertiary Music Awards Ghana (TMAG) is a registered Ghanaian owned award Scheme Company set to recognize, award, and promote artistes who are at the Tertiary Level and making an impact in the music industry.

This initiative will be launched on October 30, 2020.

Speaking to Cwesi Oteng Desmond (COD), the Public Relation Officer of the scheme, the launch is scheduled to take place at the Hill View Hotel Conference Auditorium from 11am.

He also stated that, management of the scheme would have an interaction with the press to enlighten and elaborate them on how the scheme is going to operate and also introduce the executives behind this initiative.

According to organizers of this scheme, most young musicians do not get the encouragement to pursue both music and Tertiary Level education.

This leaves a huge gap in their educational lives and in helping to bridge this gap, TMAG will employ creative measures to help promote both agenda.

They also added that, the scheme seeks to strategically create a general awareness for young folks to pursue a Tertiary level education in addition to their talents.
