Blue Ivy Narrates The Book Of Oscar-Winning Short Film ‘Hair Love’

Blue Ivy Carter is already taking after her parents and hard at work.

The eldest child of Beyoncé and Jay-Z has narrated the children’s book of ‘Hair Love,’ which tells the story of a Black father trying to style his daughter’s natural hair.

The book’s author Matthew Cherry tweeted the news Monday with a sample of Blue Ivy’s audio.

Online trolls have bullied the eight-year-old for years because of her natural hair. ‘Hair Love’ is a book celebrating and embracing natural hair for Black girls everywhere.

‘Hair Love’ was made into an animated short film, which won an Oscar in February.
HBO Max has also planned a TV series based on ‘Hair Love.’
